POWER INDUCTOR
ABOUT POWER INDUCTOR
What are Power Inductors used for?
A power Inductor is essentially a heavy duty inductor designed for Power Electronics applications meant to carry high current and voltages.
How does a power inductor work?
An inductor is a passive electronic component which is capable of storing electrical energy in the form of magnetic energy. It uses a conductor that is wound into a coil, and when electricity flows into the coil from the left to the right, this will generate a magnetic field in the clockwise direction.
Types of Power Inductor.
Rod Core
Drum Core
Iron Dust
Applications for POWER INDUCTOR
Power Inductors are used in AC/DC Converters, SMPS Charger Circuits , LED Drivers , Display Unit Drivers , Special purpose SMPS Power Supply units, DC/DC Converter, Inverters, solar battery chargers, solar inverters, solar lighting supplies.ABOUT POWER INDUCTOR
