Sendust Cores are magnetic components made from a powdered alloy of iron (Fe), silicon (Si), and aluminum (Al). Originally developed as a substitute for permalloy, Sendust offers low core loss, excellent temperature stability, high saturation flux density, and zero magnetostriction. It features distributed air gaps that reduce eddy current losses and core saturation. Sendust cores are ideal for power inductors, energy storage, and EMI filtering in high-frequency and high-current applications.
