LLC Resonant Inverter
The LLC converter is a resonant inverter with three reactive components where the DC input voltage revolves into a square wave by a switching grid organized as either a half-or full-bridge to sustain the resonant LLC tank that effectively filters out harmonics yielding a sinusoidal like voltage and current waveform. This in effect sustains a transformer that gives voltage scaling and primary-secondary isolation. The converter power flow is dominated by modulating the square wave frequency with respect to the tank circuit's resonance. It is based on resonant current oscillation.
