- Boost Inductor
Initially a boost inductor takes an input voltage and casually boosts it. Making a boost inductor is less difficult than the AC transformer. High efficiency is the staple for every inductor and boost inductor tops in it. A large range of power levels and boost ratios boost inductors comes in various forms. Whether the boost is properly designed to operate in DCM or CCM depends upon its requirements. The main principle which drives it is the inductor’s resistance to changes in current by raising or decreasing the energy source at the inductor magnetic field. The unique feature of a boost inductor is to step an input voltage to some higher level that is required by the output. The special feature is storing energy in an inductor and releasing it to the output at a higher voltage. These unique features are provided by Shah electronics which manufactures electronic components for boost inductors, inductor coil, buck inductors, etc. Ferrite rod core inductors are also available at Shah Electronics.
